Strengthening Families

The Bringing Baby Home Program combines scientific research and education to improve the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening their families. The goal is to promote social change by making the Bringing Baby Home workshop available as part of the standard birth preparation program offered to expectant couples in hospitals throughout the nation. This was accomplished first in the state of Washington, and is now being provided across the U.S. and worldwide.

Formerly sponsored by the Relationship Research Institute, which is in transition as of early 2012 due to grant funding, the Bringing Baby Home program has been moved over to The Gottman Institute (TGI). For questions regarding BBH please contact CEO Alan Kunovsky at alan@gottman.com

The success of this program means that millions of babies and young families at every socio-economic level and from every ethnic and racial group will get a strong start that is emotionally sensitive to babies and family relationships.
