Onsite BBH Certification Trainings

Onsite BBH certification training opportunities are tailored to meet the needs of hospitals and organizations that would like to train multiple employees at once, as well as groups of individuals outside of the Greater Seattle Area who are looking for cost effective ways to become certified educators of the BBH Program.

Why offer Bringing Baby Home at your organization?
Health care Professionals across the country and around the world have embraced the BBH Program and are currently offering it to couples in their organizations and communities. For example, Swedish Medical Center in Seattle provides its clients with the option of completing BBH along with other birth preparation courses that prepare expectant couples for other aspects of this transition (e.g., breastfeeding, the birth, newborn health). The addition of the BBH curriculum provides couples with education beyond these “standard” courses. It is geared toward helping couples overcome the obstacles that they will inevitably face as a couple as they experience this challenging transition. The curriculum prepares couples for this period and offers them education on how to successfully navigate this transition in healthy ways. We’d like to extend the opportunity to host the BBH Program to your organization so that you can better serve your clients and help build healthier families from the start.

Hospitals and organizations can arrange to have our Master Trainers and Training Specialists bring this two to three day certification training program to your location. In the two day training, you will learn the basic skills of our program, which you can expand upon with the comprehensive and individually tailored third day, offered to those who wish to go beyond foundations! This allows organizations to cut down on costs associated with sending multiple employees to Seattle for our annual trainings. This training option also allows organizations to quickly prepare to offer the BBH Workshops to their clients. Individuals

If you are interested in learning how to to become a certified educator of the Bringing Baby Home Program but are not able to attend one our upcoming trainings, BBH Program staff can help you find other interested individuals in your area so that we can host an onsite training at your location. Onsite training options are priced so that a group of 12 individuals can each pay approximately the same amount that they would pay to attend our Seattle-based trainings, but without the extra travel and lodging costs.
